Icarus @ 59 # 131

Head in the clouds
So today we fly back to the UK, and we have been in so many places I am beginning to feel like a character in an F. Scott Fitzgerald story. Oklahoma I could take or leave, except today I helped in an Easter egg hunt in a huge house (probably the biggest private house I have ever been in). Truth is it costs about the same as my UK house but prices there aren't real - it even sat at the side of a private lake and had a gateman because the estate is private). But hey ho, they aint got what we got (to paraphrase the song)! But wasn't it F. Scott Fitzgerald who said you should cut out exclamation marks from writing - because it means you are laughing at your own jokes?!? TFH! It has been great being in the company of Abbi and her great friends - pictured here with her wee Papa, with whom she shares a birthday (give or take a couple of hours). But she will be back with us of a few weeks in the summer - and we might car dance to this track. We used to listen to Capercaillie on the road to tennis matches in the UK. I know I have posted this tune before but I am in the mood for it right now at 7 in an Oklahoma morning sipping coffee in a hotel lobby waiting to take Abbi to her first class:
