Icarus @ 59 # 116


Yesterday I had the pleasure of seeing Brighton from different angles, actually one angle, walking along the boardwalk because the marathon was taking up the seafront road. It was a fantastic event but it allows you too see parts of the world anew. And I had never seen the West Pier look like a Stonehenge before. And if I had my way I wouldn't worry about it crumbling but I would try to get some of Anthony Gormley's work to supplement it as a monument. I will post them here just for the view. But I am leaving Brighton behind tomorrow (for all you burglars out there) Off to California and new climes to enjoy, and I might listen to this as a wee treat at the same time. I don't feel one-hundred percent fit enough to travel but what the hell, who is ever one-hundred percent at my age:
